You can open an Options order entry ticket by clicking "Options" from
the left menu or from the upper tabs in the Trading Center. You can place Buy and
Sell orders for covered and uncovered positions. When you are satisfied with your
order ticket, click on the Submit button to go to the Order Verification screen,
where you can review the order details and send your order to the market. If you
have activated the Quick Trade button, you can save time by using it to send your
order to the market without first going to the Order Verification screen.
To close a position in one of your accounts, select the account from the drop-down
menu in the Overview panel and click the option symbol. The trading panel will be
filled-in automatically for you. All that's left is to set your price or adjust
the quantity, if you don't want to close the entire position.
